Throughout the day, our pupils threw themselves into five exciting challenges: circus skills, slack-lining, mental health games, boccia, and curling. Each activity not only sparked joy but also fostered teamwork, resilience, and new skills that extended far beyond the field of play.
Whether balancing on a slackline or diving into mindful tasks, the children gave it their all and represented our school with pride and positivity. Their enthusiasm was infectious, their sportsmanship commendable, and their sense of fun—absolutely unbeatable.
A big thank you to the Hampshire School Games organisers for hosting such an enriching and inclusive event. We couldn’t be prouder of our young athletes! If you would like to see the photos click here.

After watching the fast-paced game and cheering on their favorite teams, the children were guided through a beginner-friendly Quidditch workshop. With brooms in hand and safety gear in place, they practiced flying techniques, learned how to pass the Quaffle, and even tried their hand at dodging Bludgers—safely enchanted for training, of course.
Throughout the session, the children demonstrated impressive teamwork and listening skills. They communicated clearly, supported one another, and quickly grasped the importance of cooperation on the field. Coaches and volunteers praised their enthusiasm and ability to work together, noting how well they adapted to the challenges of the game.
By the end of the session, the young participants had not only learned the fundamentals of Quidditch but also built confidence and camaraderie. It was a magical experience that brought the spirit of the wizarding world to life through play, learning, and shared adventure.

We are incredibly proud to share the inspiring efforts of five of our Year 5 girls—Emmy, Grace, Jasmine, Amelia, and Lidia—who have taken on a remarkable challenge to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Motivated by a Newsround report on cancer, these compassionate and determined young girls decided to take action. From 28th April to 23rd May, they committed to running laps during their playtimes and lunchtimes for 20 days—all in the name of supporting vital cancer research.
Their dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm have been truly heartwarming, and they’ve already made a big impact within our school community. We are so proud of their initiative and the values they’ve demonstrated—living examples of our school’s ethos of Faith, Respect, Achievement, and Friendship.
💖 Well done, girls! You are an inspiration to us all.
If you would like to support their cause and help them raise even more for Cancer Research UK, donations are still welcome. Every contribution makes a difference.
