Reading Challenge #1

Hi St. Matthew's, 

I am here to set you a reading challenge. As you may be aware, 'Oak National Academy' launched their 'Virtual Library' at the weekend where they will be releasing one E-book each week. 

This week's E-book is 'The Story of Tracy Beaker' by the amazing Jaqueline Wilson. Click on the link below to access the E-book.

Your Challenge: 

Read 'The Story of Tracy Beaker'. 

Then write a book review, which could include... 

  • a summary of what the story is about
  • your favourite parts and/or characters and why
  • anything that you didn't like about the story and why
  • A mark out of 5 stars

DON'T FORGET

Last week, I signed us up to 'Oxford Owl' which has many free book banded E-books which are the same as those that we send home from school for your children to practise. You can still record your daily reading into your yellow reading record. When you get to your milestones on the Reading Tracker, let us know and we will be able to get certificates and books ready for Friday's Sharing Worship.
