We are delighted to tell you that our school has been judged outstanding in a recent church inspection. We were judged on the quality and effectiveness of our teaching and learning, leadership and management, collective worship and the Christian distinctiveness of the school. The school achieved the outstanding judgement in all four areas.

More than 800 paper poppies were scattered along the corridors of the school this morning before a special worship to mark Armistice Day. The children reflected on the strength of friendship and how people could give up their lives for others. Year 6 will also be marking the day at Blackmoor War Memorial with Dom. On Wednesday we had a very important visit from a dioscese inspector. She came to visit to evaluate the teaching and learning across the school.
Just as the children left for the Half Term holiday, the builders arrived to start on our new school hall. Thanks to the Portsmouth Diocese and £10,000 from our PTFA, we are creating a wonderful place for worship, PE, Lunchtimes and celebrations.
