St Matthew's is outstanding
Published 24/11/15We are delighted to tell you that our school has been judged outstanding in a recent church inspection. We were judged on the quality and effectiveness of our teaching and learning, leadership and management, collective worship and the Christian distinctiveness of the school. The school achieved the outstanding judgement in all four areas.

St Matthew's remembers .....
Published 11/11/15More than 800 paper poppies were scattered along the corridors of the school this morning before a special worship to mark Armistice Day. The children reflected on the strength of friendship and how people could give up their lives for others. Year 6 will also be marking the day at Blackmoor War Memorial with Dom. Church Schools' Inspection
