St Matthew's CE Primary School

Faith • Respect • Achievement • Friendship

On the 26th of November St.Matthews had their 150th event. We had a big celebration and we are all making blogs to tell you about it.

We had a time table to tell us what we would be doing at different places through out the day. We would be sorted into our coloured teams Yellow, Red, Blue and Green. The activities in the day were Dancing, eating cake, thinking of what life would be like in 150 years time, graffiti and we also did some board games. It was so much fun. We had cake, bread rolls and soup which was home made by the year 5 and 6 students. We had guests from the community and parents after school hours and year 5 and 6 pupils gave them tours, showed them displays and offered soup and cake. All the students had great fun and we had lots of members of public. It went down well and we had a great time.

It was a complete success  and every student at St.Matthews enjoyed it. We had a manic day of baking and finishing off everything the day before but it was worth it for the amazing event. We loved it.
