Beech Class 7.6.22

Despite the wet weather today Beech class had a very enjoyable Forest School session. The children were fascinated with some owl pellets that Mrs Owen brought in. They dissected the pellets and used bone identification sheets to try and work out which animals had been eaten by the owl.

Some of the children built fires in the 'Kelly kettles' and managed to keep them going despite the wet weather, and others made shelters. Most of the children were busy and engaged, and we had some interesting discussions throughout the session.
