Oak Class 6.7.21

Please enter an introduction for your blog post here.

Oak Class had a lovely morning at Forest School today, despite the weather! Unfortunately, we were unable to get the main campfire going to cook bread, (hopefully we will be able to do this next week!) However, the children enjoyed splashing in puddles and made the most of the wet weather.

One group of children managed to create a fire in a 'Kelly Kettle' base, and even boiled water! It took a lot of perseverance and determination to do this! Some of the children had a go at making an 'Oak' sign by hammering nails into wood, and weaving wool around the letters, and a few children continued their mapping skills from last week. Everyone appeared to enjoy the session, and were all busy doing different activities.
