Rainbows 26.3.21

Marshmallows, hot chocolate and Easter gardens

It was a lovely Forest School session today. The weather was kind to us, it stayed dry so that we could have the main campfire on and cook marshmallows on it. Rainbows remembered the safety rules and sat in the 'respect' position around the fire. They enjoyed cooking their marshmallows and drinking the hot chocolate. Whilst they were waiting to cook, they made some impressive Easter gardens using lots of different natural materials. Some of them also chose to make flat, clay Easter eggs and others went on a bug hunt. All of the children were engaged in the session and were proud of their Easter artwork.
