Oak Class 16.3.21

Leaf crowns, fire lighting and tree climbing

It was a lovely (dry!) Forest School session today. The children were interested in making things out of wood such as leaf/twig boats, crowns (linked to their 'Queen' topic) and bird's nests. Some of the children were desperate to go tree climbing whilst others decided to do fire lighting. Peter wanted to go on a litter pick because he wanted to help the environment and to clean up the woods. I saw lots of children working cooperatively and looking out for one another which was lovely to see.
