Apple Class 24.2.21

Nature walks and deer sightings

Apple class were very excited to be out in Forest School today. They saw two deer running across the field this morning and wanted to go on a nature walk this afternoon to see if they could see them again. Whilst on the nature walk, the children climbed trees, explored the bank area and collected bugs. The deer were spotted by the rest of the group that stayed behind in the Forest School area (twice!!). Mrs Owen thought they were playing hide and seek with her as she didn't see them at all! Some of the boys decided to make a den using a tarp and other children made clay models and used sticks and wool to create different objects.
