Today we had a message left from Captain Purple Beard! He had lost his treasure in the forest school area and needed our help to find it. We had to read a map and use directions to be able to find it. When we did find it, it was YUMMY!

We Built a shelter from conifer branches - that was brilliant fun!

Austin found a friend in the forest today. A shield bug. Looks like a brown marmorated shield bug to me.

We also had a go at making some stick rafts using sticks, bark and string. We tested them in water to see if they would float.
