At St Matthews Primary School, we are committed to promoting physical activity amongst our pupils. We have used some of our sports funding to provide after-school clubs such as football on Mondays, karate on Tuesdays, and multi-skills on Wednesdays.

Pupils are regularly given the opportunity to participate in a range of tournaments and sports festivals both with other schools (inter-competitions) so that children are able to take part in school sport in a safe and fun environment. A high percentage of our pupils attend these and demonstrate their key skills. This year so far we have participated in, below is our previous years tournaments :
