Apple Class 5.5.21

Apple class had a very creative Forest School session today. The session started off with a bit of excitement! The children heard a Woodpecker and were keen to find it, so we hunted the school grounds and eventually found it just beyond the fence. The children were really excited to see it knocking into the wood with its beak.

After, some of the children wanted to whittle wood and use the palm drills to make natural pencils. Louis whittled his entire stick and created a lovely pencil using charcoal as the 'lead'.  A couple of the girls made natural wreaths and some of the boys built a fort using tyres. All of the children were engaged in some lovely activities and we had a very enjoyable Forest School session.
