Bird spotting, toast and shelters

Thank goodness we managed to dodge the hail showers this morning! The children enjoyed a spot to 'twitching' bird spotting). They thought that they had spotted a woodpecker - he was certainly very noisy all morning and also a jackdaw. They were all so excited about it! The binoculars are definitely coming out again next week! We also used the swing, rope ladder and cargo net. Some of us even made up our own game of 'capture the owl' using one of the soft toys in the forest school kit. Toast again for snack today - spreading techniques are coming along well!!
