Rainbows 26.2.21

Scavenger hunt, tree climbing and fire lighting.

Rainbows completed a scavenger hunt first thing this morning. They were looking for lots of different natural objects and creatures. Whilst completing the hunt, they found an excellent tree to climb and most of the children had a go. Milo found an enormous bird's nest and we were trying to work out which bird had made it. After the scavenger hunt, the children listened carefully to a talk about safe fire lighting. All of the children had a go at fire lighting (with Mrs Owen's support) using a fire steel, shell and cotton wool. They were very sensible around the fire lighting area and all sat in the 'respect' position.
