Rainbows 2.10.20

Resilience

Rainbows demonstrated great resilience today in the wet weather conditions. We read the story 'We're going on a bear hunt' which the children loved. We then decided to go on our own bear hunt around the school grounds. The children loved using their imagination to pretend they had seen a bear. Some of them discussed the different senses we could use and others pretended to be a bear so we could find them. Whilst walking around the school grounds and discussing the Forest School boundaries we encountered lots of interesting plants and signs of wildlife. The children enjoyed using the 'Seek' app to identify different mushrooms and fungi along the way. Well done Rainbows, I was incredibly proud of you for braving the wet weather today!
