Over the last two weeks, Years 1, 2, 3 and 5 have been back in the woods. We were recapping the Forest School rules and observing the changes to the site.

Year 1and 2 made some beautiful natural collages some of which were 3D.

Year 1 were fascinated by minibeasts and some of them even had a go at holding them. Some of the children decided to go on a toad and frog hunt so we visited the pond area to have a look.

Year 3 started journaling and some of the children decided to make natural paintbrushes by whittling wood and hammering it to split the wood into bristles. They then went off to collect natural materials that could be used as paint. 

It has been a great start to Forest School!
