Beech 2025-26

Hello and welcome to the Beech Class page! We’re a brilliant bunch of Year 6 learners who work really hard but know how to have lots of fun along the way. This year is particularly exciting as we prepare for our SATs while diving into some fascinating topics in history, geography, and science. Our curiosity knows no bounds, and we can’t wait to explore the world around us!  Here’s to a fantastic year ahead in Beech Class!

Spring 1 - Earth and Space

What is out there, and where did it come from?

Values: Truth, Conflict, Dreams, Failure.

In this half-term-long topic, the children will be looking at earth and space in their science lessons. This will be started by a trip to Winchester Science Centre. They will also look at creation and fall in RE, leaving lots of time for discussion around Christianity's big questions.
