Cross Country @ Perins 4/2/26

This week, 21 enthusiastic runners from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 represented our school at the Perins Cross Country event—and what an incredible effort they gave! The children faced extremely tough conditions, with very muddy terrain making every step a challenge. Despite this, they showed determination, courage, and brilliant team spirit throughout the day.

Our runners achieved a fantastic range of results, from an impressive 2nd place finish to pupils proudly completing the course—an achievement in itself given the conditions. Every child pushed themselves and demonstrated true perseverance.

One of the highlights of the event was the outstanding support the children gave each other. They cheered loudly, encouraged their teammates, and celebrated everyone’s efforts, showing exactly what makes our school community so special.

We are incredibly proud of all 21 children for their hard work, resilience, and teamwork. Well done to everyone who took part! If you would like to see photos click here.
